New Management Plan for the Recreational and Commercial Scallop Fishery

The Tasmanian scallop fishery management plan (the rules) expire in February 2010.

The Department has prepared a new management plan and accompanying information paper that is now available for public comment for two months and closes on 14 December 2009.

These documents can be downloaded below or a hard copy can be collected from the Licensing Section of the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment (DPIPWE), located on the ground floor of the Marine Board Building, 1 Franklin Wharf, Hobart; or by contacting the Department on 03 6233 6380.
