Scientific Permits (Fauna) Applications for Public Comment 2012

As part of the process for issuing scientific permits by DPIPWE, the community is invited to view all new applications to take wildlife for scientific purposes and have an opportunity to make comments. We invite comment on the relevance of the research, ecological sustainability and research methods. Animal welfare issues are assessed by Animal Ethics Committees established under the Animal Welfare Act 1993 - see Animal Research for more information.

Your comments on the information contained or nature of the research being proposed, should be provided in writing (by post, fax or email), including your name and contact details, before close of business on the listed closing date. Send your comments to:
