Disability Access Plans

The Tasmanian Government's Disability Framework for Action 2005 - 2010 (the Framework) provides a comprehensive blueprint to ensure that the needs of people with disabilities are routinely taken into account in all Government policies and services.

The Framework was launched by the Tasmanian Government in December 2005 and is now undergoing review. The new policy framework is due for release in December 2012. Pending release of the new framework, departments continue to operate and report on the basis of the Disability Framework for Action 2005 -2010.

The Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment has established a Disability Access and Inclusion Plan Working Group to progress the development and implementation of its next Plan.

Until this process is complete, the plans of the former Departments (Department of Primary Industries and Water and Department of Environment, Parks, Heritage and the Arts) are available to view in HTML or download as a Word Document or PDF.
