Draft Framework for Integrated Management of Groundwater and Surface Water in Tasmania

Draft under review

Tasmania recognises that the State’s groundwater and surface water resources (and associated ecosystems) are highly connected, and must be managed as a single system. This is consistent with the objectives of the National Water Initiative.

The draft Framework provides background to important issues, along with options for development of an integrated water management strategy.
