Flora and Fauna of Tasmania - This collection of links contains information on the diverse flora and fauna of Tasmania. It includes links to a wide range of information such as common plant names, threatened species listings, the national herbarium, botanical databases, fungi, flora and fauna descriptions and information on living with wildlife in Tasmania.
Land information, mapping and other spatial data - This collection of links contains resources such as title and property information, spatial information including a wide range of administrative, topographic, environmental and socioeconomic data, the Natural Values Atlas and other tools to allow landowners to examine the natural values on their land, and how their land may interact with the wider surrounding landscape.
Private Land Conservation Program resources and publications - This page contains links to various reports, publications and other information developed by the Private Land Conservation Program.
Land management - This collection of land management links contains information on a wide range of sustainable management practices, including the management and conservation of native bush, grazing, soils, salinity, weeds and other resources.
Legislative documents, policy and Government information - This page contains links to various relevant legislative information, documents and reviews, and links to Australian government websites such as the Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts.
Other Australian Land for Wildlife programs - Since its establishment in Victoria in 1981, Land for Wildlife has been widely adopted in Australia. Participation in this conservation scheme is voluntary, free, and non-binding. The LFW scheme aims to encourage, support and recognise landowners who are taking a positive approach to the integration of property land management with nature conservation on private land. Properties registered with the LFW scheme can make a valuable contribution to protecting our wildlife species and habitats.
