Regarding livestock, the Tasmanian Farmers and Graziers Association (TFGA) is running a number of emergency assistance programs for livestock owners affected by the bushfires, including fodder and emergency fencing. The TFGA’s contact number is 1800 154 111.
Advice on livestock management after a bushfire and on feeding for burnt-out grazing enterprises is available through Sheep Connect. The contacts are James Tyson on 0409 006 774 and Andrew Bailey on 0408 129 373.
